TIME IS FLYING TO FAST...
Time has flow on by so fast I don’t even know what day it is anymore. There is so much to fill you all in on its ridiculous. I will start off with my friend Michele’s baby shower. It was wonderful and she looked so pretty! It was a small and intimate affair. I made a diaper cake and her favorite chocolate covered strawberries. It is always a wonderful time when I get to see my 1/6 ladies. We try hard to keep our gatherings going. Michele gave birth to her son Jacob this month. He is so beautiful. I cannot wait for them to get settled in, so I can meet him and give him tons of kisses!
We went to Lake Anna, where my brother/sister in laws rented the most amazing house off the lake. The house was huge. It fit at least 30 people. They rented it to celebrate their 30th birthdays! How sweet! By the lake was this little beach and AMAZING bar. The kids had a blast, and it was a great bonding experience for Will and Bry. We had a blast!
The beginning of June, will Aunt Paulie and I took a girls weekend to Rehoboth beach. It was nice to bone with her. We were celebrating her end of chemo! We shopped till we dropped and ate till we exploded. It was a much needed rest away from the everyday bump and grind.
Jackie Rose graduated from Kindergarten. I can’t believe my baby is growing so fast. I remember the days when it was just her and I. I would take her to the pool, beach, jungle gym, and the play groups the base had to offer. We made so many wonderful memories in NC. I look back and it just takes my breath away,,, today she graduates from Kindergarten, the next thing you know I will be watching her walk down the isle at her wedding. I know I know, but I can’t help but think that time is going too fast. I want to cherish every moment with my babies. At least while they will let me! Congrats Jackie Rose! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of all you have accomplished this year. You have grown into a beautiful smart little lady! We cannot wait to see what this year will bring.

On a sadder note, pumpkin, our Jack Russell, moved out yesterday to her new home. Will and I have been torn for a year about what would be the best thing for Pumpkin and our family. Since going back to work, she has become an indoor dog. She doesn’t get the long walks she needs or deserves. The lack of love is defiantly not an issue. She has become a part of our family. I look back and see pictures of her and Jackie together… uhhhh .. It makes me sad. I did find an amazing young woman to be her new mommy. She has two jacks already, so she knows and understands the bread. She came over and worked with pumpkin everyday for a week. She brought her girl dog, love, to walk w/ Pumpkin too. She got Pumpkin to listen, and to sit and wait for her to walk in the house before her. She feeds her dog’s special organic or holistic food. Her vet is a holistic doctor. She goes above and beyond for her puppies for sure. She even took three days off work, to train Pumpkin and to get the new family used to each other. We will keep in touch and get pictures. It was and is still hard on us. Last night was our first night with her in the house. Walking down stairs and not seeing her doggy bed or her water or food bowls….hush. Don’t get me started. Very hard. But they say the doing the right thing isn’t always this easiest thing to do.
So that’s it in a nut shell. You are all caught up on the Gazes way of life.
