Family Day ROCKS!!!!

Will and I finally got to sneak way for some family time! It was so much fun. We were so blessed that the weather was amazing. I think it hit 85'. We were wearing shorts too! So much fun! We walked around DC, hit the Smithsonian, played in the water, and ate at Wills favorite Italian restaurant. It had been way to long since Will, the kids, and I have just gotten away to play. We made great memories, and I have decided to mark it on the calendar at least 2 a month to get out just the 4 of us!!!

Ringling Bros. Circus

Saturday was a busy day for me! I went to a baby shower then turned around and went to the circus! It was so much fun! I loved to watched Jackie's face,,, she loved every minute of it! Our friends Lauryn and Angie came along... and that made it so much more fun! Jackie had her cotton candy and icee'. Lauryn had her popcorn, and thanks to Auntie Angie, both girls left with a cool sword! Poppa and Paulie also came along, and had a blast! Poppa was like a kid, he couldn't get the smile off his face!!! It was a blast!

Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails..thats what little boys are made of.

Saturday I was able to go my dear friend, Erin's , baby shower. I meet Erin in North Carolina when Will was with 1/6. I tell ya, I meet some of my dearest friends in that battalion. Erin is so sweet, and she is also a Zeta... we clicked right from the start. She is the cutest pregnant women ever. She is so tiny and just looks like she swallowed a basketball. UHHH, wish I looked that way!!!!Any who, I had a blast, and wished I could have stayed longer. (I had to run so that I could get to the circus w/ the kids!)Congrats Erin! I cant wait to meet your sweet little boy!!!

A Night On the Town....

Will and I finally got a chance to sneak out of the house with out the kids. It was LONG over due. With the everyday things that happen in life, our lives seem to be so busy, there seems to never be time for he and I just just talk. So finally we planned a day to get out and enjoy each other! We went to a bar for a drink in DC, then headed to a Mexican restaurant, and off to a Nats game in their new stadium. It was wonderful. We were like teenagers, holding hands and being all getty. It was funny. I had a great time and cant wait for our next date! I have planned it out with my sister that she gets two date nights a month and Will and I will get the same!!! Thank goodness for living next to family!!

In front of the new Nat's stadium.

Will was like a kid.. he has so much fun.

The stadium, behind the building to the left is the tip of the Capital building...

I forget his name, he is famous, and threw the first pitch.

Will after the game, they lost, but it was still a great time!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

March 29th was a busy day at the Gazes' household. It was Will's 32 birthday and our dear friend, Josh's , wedding. Will just happened to be in the wedding, so we had to hurry our morning along. Will had tons of pictures to take before our 3pm wedding. So I put a candle in Wills favorite donut, and the kids and I sung Happy Birthday Daddy! He loved it. It was a great way to start our day.

My handsome men!
Man, I have the best family!

Willie just wanted to grab the donut!

Birthday + Wedding = One heck of a good time!

Our dearest friend, Josh married the love of his life, Meredith on Will's birthday. It was an amazing day. I don't think we have ever seen Josh smile so wide. I swear it was ear to ear! He is such an amazing person, and he truly found his soul mate in Meredith. The are the perfect pair. Their families are amazing people, so I know their life together will be a happy one! Meredith was beautiful , and of course our Marines always look HOT HOT HOT in their dress blues. The wedding itself was held in a Catholic church in Arlington. The couple used family priest. And boy were they funny. True Irish Catholics. It was so much fun. Everyone was laughing and crying. I loved that the marines were able to do the traditional marine sword ceremony. I wished i would have done that at my wedding. They also went to the Iwo Jima Memorial and took pictures. I too, wish I would have done that on my big day. The reception was at Ft. Mcnair. That place is breathtaking! The party was a blast. We met so many new and old friends. The food was amazing, the cake was great, the dancing was amazing. I tell you they were out there all night long! It reminded me of my family and the way we all like to PARRRRRTAYYYYYYY. The " Cavan's are now on a two week honeymoon in Tuscany. OHHHHHH, I wish I was with them. I wouldn't have been a bad third wheel.. hmmm.
